2011 National Men's Health Gathering: Perth WA, Sept 19-22

The Men's Health Gathering 2011 provides a chance for delegates to participate in strengthening the advancement of male health in the Australasian region and beyond through effective strategic planning and knowledge management. The 2011 Gathering incorporates the 6th National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Male Health Convention, the 9th National Men’s Health Conference, and the 5th National Men and Family Relationships Forum.

The Gathering will bring together health professionals, including general, practitioners, specialists, nurses, allied health workers, counsellors, social workers, mental health workers, youth workers, academics, policy makers, health promotion and public health practitioners, community developers, men’s health and welfare organisations, researchers, NGO’s, anyone involved in community services for men, men and family relationships workers, veterans affairs workers, government departments and government agencies involved with health, welfare, human services, community services, children’s services, child protection and family and domestic violence, and health educators from across Australia. It is estimated that approximately 600 delegates will attend the Gathering throughout the four days.

Abstract submissions close on May 1, 2011.
